Our Story

how it all began . . .

When I was a child, I always loved accessories, and the color red. I would always look for specific accessories that I had imagined in my head, but I could never find an item that matched what I was dreaming about. Little did I know, one day I would be making my own!

As I got older, I became a social worker by profession, but I also began to start taking classes in order to learn how to make my own accessories, and I gave my creations to my friends.

In 2017, my father got diagnosed with stage four cancer. From that moment, I started spending a lot of time in the hospital in New York. Creating accessories became my form of therapy for endless nights. With a push from the medical staff, I soon started my own mini “jewelry factory” in the cancer pavilion. The same medical staff that pushed me to begin this little factory were the very first customers of Rouge Hoops, as they bought the very first Rouge Hoops that were made there.

Progressively, we diversified our models by incorporating recycled materials, pearls, and natural stones into our creation process. Today, we manufacture high quality, unique accessories, all completely handmade, that are inspired by the colors of our land.
